Meet Dr. Adelyn Gotterer

Dr. Gotterer is a licensed psychologist specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. She is passionate about creating a supportive, open, and collaborative environment where young people can build resilience and develop the skills they need to thrive.

Dr. Gotterer provides evidence-based therapy for a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, navigating life transitions, and difficulties with emotional and behavioral regulation. She also offers specialized support to youth coping with medical illness and chronic pain.

Dr. Gotterer earned her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from Baylor University in Texas. Her doctoral work included training at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where she provided care to children with cancer, blood disorders, and chronic pain. She then completed her predoctoral internship at the Lucile Packard Stanford Children's Health and Children's Health Council Consortium in California. Continuing her specialized training, Dr. Gotterer completed a postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric oncology, hematology, and bone marrow transplant at Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospital in North Carolina. Prior to joining Clear Mind Collective, she served on the faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she worked with children experiencing anxiety, depression, and coping difficulties related to medical illness. 

Dr. Gotterer is licensed to practice in the states of Texas (PSY 40574), North Carolina (PSY 6256), and California (PSY 34289).
